M.I.A. appears to be one hot mess lately; while showing her middle finger at the Super Bowl wasn't really that bad, she does have far bigger problems on the home front and nobody seems to be suffering worse than her three-year-old son.

Sources report that M.I.A. sometimes goes six weeks at a time without seeing her three-year-old son, Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. She has also left her fiancé, and is residing in London while he and their child live entirely separate lives in New York. It's also reported that since the semi-talented entertainer plays such a minimal role in her child's life, the child's paternal grandmother helps in raising him.

M.I.A., who is 36 years old, is old enough by now to settle down and take care of her child. While she is living a busy life of entertaining what few fans listen to her brand of garbage, abandoning her son is just a downright loser move.
